The “adoptable dog of the week” in metro Atlanta this week is Springer, a young lab from Labrador Friends of the South. Here is more about Springer from the Labrador Friends website:
“Meet Springer. He and his brother Taylor were found on the side of the road wondering. At first they did not want to be approached but once in good hands they turned up to be super sweet and submissive. Springer is 1 year old or so. He is in a foster home and he is doing great. Both Springer and Taylor are followers and need another dog in the house to follow and snuggle with.
UPDATE FROM FOSTER MOM: He is settling in great and learning potty training which needs some work as he’s still at 101. He is still learning the dog door. He and Pumpkin are best buds and he gets along great with foster sisters.
He went on his first trip to McDonald’s for Sunday morning biscuit. He is getting used to riding in car and is fine once in but hesitant about getting in. He is taking nap right next to me now. He is quite the little snuggler and loves hugs and gives lots of kisses.”
