The “adoptable cats of the week” in metro Atlanta this week are JoJoo and Vron from Furkids. They are ten-month old gray and white domestic short hair kittens. Here is more about JoJoo and Vron from the Furkids’ Facebook page:
“JoJoo and Vron came to Furkids from animal control with their two brothers who have since been adopted. From the beginning, JoJoo was the "papa" of the group, always needing to know where everyone was and what was going on. Vron was always the sweet loving girl, quick to purr and cuddle up.
Shelter kitties often have to be adaptable to their surroundings, but JoJoo really likes to know what's going on and have his routine in order for him to relax and feel completely comfortable. Once he knows "his people" and the sounds and routine of the house, he and Vron follow you around, hopping up on the sink in the bathroom and cuddling up in bed at night.
Vron loves to lay next to you (or on you) while you read or check email. Mornings are snuggle time, and more than once their foster mom has been late getting up for work because they insist on extra snuggles before getting up. JoJoo and Vron are extremely bonded and almost always sleep cuddled with each other.
This brother and sister get along with other cats. They haven't been around dogs or small children, but would probably adapt just fine. More than anything, JoJoo and Vron want a loving stable Forever Home.
Please remember it's half off adoption month, you can get double the love for the price of one!”

About Furkids (provided by Samantha Shelton, Furkids’ Founder and Director)
“Furkids, Inc., founded in 2002, is a 501(c)3, charitable, non-profit organization that provides a cage-free, no-kill shelter for rescued cats and dogs where they can experience the best care in a loving environment until they are adopted. Each year, Furkids rescues, shelters, sterilizes, rehabilitates, and places hundreds of animals in permanent, loving homes.
Furkids is one of the most successful nonprofit animal rescue organizations in the southeast, operating the largest cage-free, no-kill shelter for homeless cats in Georgia and a no-kill shelter for dogs. Furkids cares for more animals on a daily basis than any other local organization, including the Atlanta Humane Society. Currently, Furkids cares for approximately 600 cats and dogs at the organization’s shelters, adoption centers and in its foster program. During its ten years, Furkids has rescued and altered more than 7,000 animals. The 2011 union of Furkids with SmallDog Rescue & Humane Society expanded operations to include both homeless cats and dogs.”
