The “adoptable cat of the week” in metro Atlanta this week is Happy Happy from SNAP-2 IT. Happy Happy is a one-year old female long haired black and white tuxedo kittie. Here is more about Happy Happy from the SNAP-2 IT blog:
“Happy Happy is a gorgeous 1 year old tuxedo that was rescued by SNAP volunteers from an apartment complex off of Marietta Boulevard (along with many other cats). Happy Happy was in poor health and pregnant when SNAP rescued her. Unfortunately, none of her litter survived but this gorgeous girl has bounced back to full health…and a completely joyous disposition. That’s why her foster mother named her “Happy Happy”; one “Happy” just wasn’t enough.
Happy Happy has luxurious long white and black fur as smooth and fine as bird feathers; you can see her bib is a full and silky ivory that transitions to a light gray before changing to black on her chest. Happy Happy has four white booties, which she very thoughtfully showed us when she posed. Her eyes are alert and round, a deep clear, clear, green. Her long white whiskers frame her face perfectly.”

About SNAP-2 IT (from the website)
“SNAP-2 IT (Spay Neuter Assistance Program) was born from a group of friends who were volunteering in no-kill shelters in metro Atlanta for many years and saw the urgent need for a preventative solution. Collectively, we witnessed multiple abuse cases and countless emails that circulate daily concerning animals who needed to be saved from euthanasia in local shelters. While we understand that no-kill shelters are needed, we also feel more attention needs to be focused on low cost spay/neuter options and to educate pet owners about spaying and neutering to prevent the problem from persisting.”
