Adopt for the New Year (Photos)

It’s a new year and it’s time to fulfill resolutions or make some if you haven’t already. We’re all familiar with the usual; go to the gym more, quit smoking, eat healthier and save money, but let’s think outside the norm. Stick to the typical resolutions that benefit yourself, like quitting smoking, but also fulfill a different type that benefits others along with you. For example, volunteer your time, donate to charity, and my favorite; rescue an animal!

Focusing on the latter of the three, adopting/rescuing a shelter animal is one of the greatest resolutions that can be fulfilled. You’ll be doing something that not only helps another creature of God, but will bring you joy and enlightenment as well.

I’ve already jumpstarted your commitment to save an animal’s life this new year; attached is a slideshow of numerous dogs currently available at Orange County Animal Services. Take a look and fulfill a different kind of New Year’s Resolution. Thank you.
