Belle is an unaltered female who is a Lakeland Terrier mix. She is about 3 years old.
Belle is in a foster home right now. This is what her foster parent wrote about her:
"Belle is a very sweet, very shy and very scared girl who needs a quiet and patient forever home. She is extremely timid around people and will hide in a corner or crate if given the opportunity. She loves other dogs though and they help bring her out of her shell so her next home should have some brothers or sisters for her to bond with. She also loves going for walks and rides in the car, but because of her skittishness, a fenced in yard would be best for her. After 3 months in foster care Belle has made good progress and will give kisses or ask for her chin to be scratched when she is feeling comfortable. She is a wonderful happy dog who just needs time and patience to discover that for herself.
She is totally fine with cats – we have two and if anything she might be a little scared of them. She has also been totally fine around kids, although she was usually hiding when they were around.
