Adopt a pet into your family this weekend in Bakersfield

Bakersfield has a lot of opportunities to adopt a best friend this weekend. With the Kern County Animal Control's 2nd annual Find Your Lucky Charm event - featuring reduced adoption fees (and a lot of extras - like free microchipping), and our wonderful local rescue groups who hold adoption events every weekend, you should have no trouble finding the perfect dog or cat to join your family. Remember, your first option should always be adoption - help to find homes for our homeless pets!
