Adirondack plans free birthday tastings

LAKE GEORGE, NY -- The Adirondack Winery is coming up on its second anniversary, and plans a weekend of free wine tastings to mark the occasion.

Sasha Pardy, president and co-owner, and crew have set this schedule:

  • Friday, April 16 -- Free red wine tastings, with gourmet cheeses and crackers and fine dark chocolates. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 17 -- Free "your choice" wine tastimgs with gourmet cheeses, chocolates and snacks. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 18 -- Free fruity wine tastings, paired with jams and chocolates. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Adirondack Winery & Tasting Room, which opened on April 17, 2008, is located at 285 Canada Street in the Village, opposite Shepard Park near Amherst Street. Phone: (518) 668-9463.
