Adidas Basketball revealed the special colorways of their top line shoes that will be a part of NBA All-Star Weekend on Tuesday via a press release. The uniquely colored kicks take on theme of New Orleans lifestyle and culture with special graphics and stylized colors that will be worn by stars such as Damian Lillard, Dwight Howard and John Wall, all of whom were selected as NBA All-Stars this season.
The four shoes comprised of the pack include the adidas Crazy 1, adidas Crazy 8, adidas CrazyQuick 2 and adidas DH4. Expect to see these shoes also be featured during NBA All-Star Friday and Saturday Night, which is expected to featured some of the game's young stars like last year's Skills Challenge champ Lillard, Harrison Barnes, Tim Hardaway Jr. and more.
The retro Crazy 1 and Crazy 8 feature vibrant colored uppers with paint splatter that calls to mind the spirit of Mardi Gras. Both shoes come with special graphics found on the midsole, side panels and laces.
An electric yellow paint splatter can be found on the adidas CrazyQuick 2 "All-Star" on top of a red to black gradient upper and a special graphic on the laces. The adidas DH4 appears to have an iridescent upper that changes color depending on how the light bends.
The shoes will be rolled out throughout NBA All-Star Weekend from Feb. 12-15.
