America’s first lady will be sharing her special day on January 17, 2014 at a private party packed full of celebrities, according to the Daily Mail on March 9. Obama plans to have a star-studded event at the White House. Michelle adores Adele and Beyonce; asking them both to sing at the birthday event.
Adele has accepted Michelle’s invitation and is extremely honored. So much so, she has waived her high-profile private performance fee. Adele plans to sing the selection of songs most-loved by the First Lady and her friends attending the birthday bash. Michelle is a long-time fan of Adele and can’t wait for next year to share her voice with her friends at the party.
The State will not be paying for the event since it is a private party. The Obama’s will be handling all the costs.
