Adele is back. The British sensation is working on a new project with former Genesis lead singer Phil Collins. According to a report by on Jan. 24, Collins confirmed that the two are currently collaborating on some new music.

It has been a while since fans have heard anything new from Adele. The singer, who seemingly took over the music world with the release of her last album in 2011, took a bit of a hiatus. Collins announced his retirement from music in the same year. So it is a little bit of a comeback for both singers. Collins said in an interview:

I've just started to work with Adele. I wasn't actually too aware... I live in a cave, but she's achieved an incredible amount. I really love her voice. I love some of this stuff she's done, too."

Collins must've really been in a cave as Adele's music dominated the airwaves throughout 2011 and 2012. With hits like "Rolling In The Deep" and "Someone Like You," the Grammy Award winner stimulated listeners with her silky, soulful voice and smooth delivery.

Its unclear as to who's album the duo is collaborating music for, it would seem the style and vibe of both singers would fit on an Adele release. If it is for a Collins release, it will be the first album he has released since 2002. Either way it will be a treat to find out the kind of music these two will create.
