Sunday night, fans were thrilled to see Adele take home five Grammy Awards. Broadcast live from Hollywood, Adele performed the award winning song, Rolling in the Deep. It was so thrilling to see that Adele was able to sing after three months of doctor ordered vocal silence. For three months Adele has not been able to perform and was ordered on complete vocal rest. Adele did a preview performance for 60 minutes last week, but for many fans this is the first time that they have heard Adele sing, since her throat surgery months ago.
During her first thank you's Adele said, "I can't believe I'm getting emotional already," she said after picking up the latter award. "And seeing as it's a vocal performance, I need to thank my doctors, I suppose, who brought my voice back." Oh yes, Adele, fans are thankful that the doctors brought back your unique voice. Fans have stated that, "Wow, she is not breathy or weak and appears to have full control of her voice." Fans had anticipated that there might be some flaws, but were happy to see that Adele has made a complete recovery.

Adele took home awards for these categories: Best Solo Pop, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album. "Rolling In the Deep" also won Best Short Form Music Video. It remains to be seen if she will win more. Only the Foo Fighters have won as many awards tonight as Adele.
