She's known as one of the world's most beloved singers. But when it comes to her personal life, Adele focuses on the one living being who gives her unconditional love: Her little dog. And she credits her pet for persuading her to turn vegetarian.
"Whenever I’m about to eat meat I always see my little dog’s eyes," Adele revealed in an interview with Britain’s Radio 1. However, she also chose a plant-based diet because she believes it's the healthiest way to go.
"I’m trying to be veggie. For what I want to do next year I have to be really healthy and stuff like that," she said, referring to her career goals and busy schedule.
What you won't see her eating much of: Tofu. Although Adele recognizes the need for protein in her diet, she is firm about her dislike for soy-based substitutes.
"I can find another way of getting all the stuff out of meat you need. I hate that tofu stuff though. It’s rank," she said candidly.
