Adele felt like Beyonce on the red carpet of this year's Academy Awards. The singer conducted a short interview on the red carpet in which she told the press that she was ready for her performance and felt like the R&B superstar.
"I'm really excited," said Adele. "The rehearsals have gone well. My dress weighs 15 kilos, it's so heavy, so I [have to] take a breath to do a big note. It's a bit difficult, but I'm going to go [for it]. I heard Barbra Streisand did it back in the day with a dress that weighed 50lbs and she danced as well. So, I feel like Beyonce."
Adele rendered a historic performance along with a few cast members of Les Miserables during the awards show. The singer was nominated for an Oscar for her hit song that served as musical backdrop during the movie, Skyfall.
The 85th Academy Awards was held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
