Adele is coming to the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles this weekend. When news broke on Thursday, the fans were excited. Wondering how the artist will look after her child and questioning whether the star might perform, there are many questions to be answered when the curtain rises on the annual show. Even Adele weighed in on the announcement Thursday morning by thanking the fans.
“Oh my god I feel like Meryl Streep!! Thank you,” tweeted Adele from her official Twitter account on Thursday. While the star didn’t officially address the Golden Globes, it’s obvious that would be one place that Meryl Streep would be and the comparison was enough for the fans.
The artist is expected to arrive in Los Angeles for the Golden Globes where she is nominated for original song for the James Bond theme Skyfall. The category has another big name attached to it as well as Taylor Swift is also nominated for The Hunger Games.
