Adele's father wants to be a grandfather to her baby: Adele is not interested (Video)

British singing sensation, Adele, is not planning to reunite with her estranged father, according to eCanadaNow on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, despite his persistent attempts to contact her. He wants to be a grandfather to Adele's 3-month old son with boyfriend Simon Konecki.

“I’m not interested in her celebrity status or her money, I just want my daughter back and I want to be a proper grandad to the little one.”

Adele's father, Mark Evans, left the family when she was three years old. eCanadaNow reports that Adele had previously discussed the relationship in an interview with Vogue and said "If I ever see him I will spit in his face."

According to Eonline, Adele has been very private about her baby’s name. She has not confirmed what the British tabloids are reporting as her choice: Angelo James Konecki. Oddly, Adele’s father feels that he should have had input in her baby’s name. He remarked that “Angelo” was very Los Angeles, and he had hoped the baby would be named after his own late father.

At this point, it appears that what Mark Evans wants is not very important to a very famous young lady who was once a 3-year-old girl.
