Adele, Harry Styles reminds fans it is World Water Day: ‘Show your support’

Adele and One Direction's Harry Styles are two stars on Friday who are reminding people about World Water Day. The annual day is the yearly calling to the public to share that 800 million people are still without clean drinking water around the world. Started by the United Nations, the day a reminder that the people of the world need to have access to the basic necessities of clean water. While many stars are reminding people, Adele and Harry Styles have fans retweeting the message about the day thousands of times.

“Today is world water day! 800 million ppl are without clean drinking water. Help us @drop4drop quench their thirst.RT #cleanwaterforall,” tweeted Adele from her official Twitter account on Friday.

Within a few minutes the followers of Harry Styles also heard the calling to help those folks who need to get access for clean water. It’s the 20th anniversary of World Water Day and a big reminder that globally the basic needs of people aren’t met.

The idea of everyone having clean water to drink seems so basic. As remote villages around the world are still without access the idea of helping everyone have a glass of water to drink seems like the right thing to do.
