Adele Hall is dead. Hall was a public figure and known civic leader in Kansas City. She and her husband of six decades were in Hawaii when she passed away on Sat., Jan. 27, 2013, according to the Kansas City Star.
With the death of Adele Hall, there may be some confusion. Another famous Adele, 24-year-old British singer Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, was the subject of a death hoax recently, and it is possible that Hall's death notice may be confused for Adkins especially since the singer Adele goes only by her first name professionally. Only Adele's most dedicated fans are even aware that her last name is Adkins, which could add to the confusion. In 2012, RIP Adele began trending on Twitter. The singer's fans decided to give the acronym a new meaning, "really inspiring person," according to Gather.com.
Adele, the singer, is still very much alive. She gave birth to her first child, whose name she has not yet revealed, in October 2012. He is the second child for her beau Simon Konecki.
Adele Hall died at the age of 81, leaving behind three children, her husband and nine grandchildren. May she rest in peace.
