Chris Brown doesn’t usually back down from a good fight. However, it looks like he is not ready to take on pop singer Adele as seen in a photo taken at the 2013 Grammys on Sunday night. The Daily Mail revealed on Feb. 11 that the new mom was not going to let the rebellious singer get by with snubbing another fellow artist, even if it is Frank Ocean.
It all started when Brown chose to stay seated after Ocean won his first ever Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary Album. Brown was also nominated for the same award. While everyone else stood up to give Frank Ocean a standing ovation for his win, the man in white did not budge one bit. The two men had an altercation a few weeks ago in a parking lot and the police were called. There is certainly no love lost between them in the past.
Adele was seen giving Chris Brown a bit of her English glare, looking quite unhappy that he was not the bigger man and at least stand up like everyone else. After Ocean’s acceptance speech, the mom-of-one headed straight over to Brown. Not one to mince her words, it looked like she let him have it. The poor guy looked a little sheepish as the 24-year-old Grammy winner seemed to be giving him a British tongue lashing. Even if it only looked that way, you can bet that she let him know just how disrespectful he was being. It would be interesting to find out exactly what she said to him.
It didn’t help Brown’s case any now that he has rekindled his romance with Rihanna, who he assaulted back in 2009 on Grammy night. He might not have been the most popular guy in attendance.
