Adele Dazeem has taken the world by storm, and she isn't even a real person. After John Travolta's flub of Idina Menzel's name at the 2014 Oscars, the Internet has decided to take it and completely run with it. On March 3, 2014, Perez Hilton continued the trend with a fake track list if Adele Dazeem released an album, but there have been memes, new Twitter accounts, and much more.
John Travolta went to introduce Idina Menzel so she could sing her now Oscar-winning song "Let It Go," but he introduced her as "Adele Dazeem," and no-one is quite sure why. Some have said that it was due to Travolta's dyslexia kicking in, but either way, it's created a frenzy.
The Adele Dazeem Internet memes are plentiful and easy to find just about wherever you look.
People have made them from Disney's "Frozen," "Wicked," and just about any pic they can find of Idina Menzel. Some have even made Adele Dazeem memes as if the award-winning singer was combined with another award-winning singer in Adele.
Then, there is the Adele Dazeem Generator that was created by Slate.com, and you can get your own messed up name. Simply type in yours and you'll get your own new name, but "Travoltified."
Travolta hasn't said whether or not the flub came from his past battles with dyslexia. Actually, he hasn't said anything at all and remains quiet on the whole Adele Dazeem situation and crazeAdele Dazeem.
