Adele back in a big way: Announces new ‘25’ album and world tour

Grammy Award-winning singer Adele has hinted at new music over recent months. The “Rumor Has It” singer could perhaps be putting those rumors to rest soon as she is reportedly preparing to release her third album, “25,” later this year.

On Tuesday, The World Music Awards announced the title of Adele’s third LP, which will follow her first album, “19,” and her widely popular sophomore album “21.” Each album is titled after the age the British singer was when she released each album.

Fans of Adele have been patiently waiting for a follow up to the album that became the longest-running No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 charts in over 20 years. With speculation that Adele may drop the LP without warning like Beyonce did with her last album, the world of music is anticipating any drop of music the soulful singer releases.

But Adele isn’t just preparing to reward fans with a new album, she is also planning to embark on a tour in 2015 according to a tweet by the World Music Awards after officially announcing the album title. The only question is why is the tweet coming from an awards show that aired this past May. So too much excitement on a new album release and the tour should be put on hold until an official announcement comes from Adele herself.

The “Someone Like You” singer did seem to make a coy album announcement back in May when she tweeted, “Bye bye 25…See you again later in the year x.” Maybe these subtle hints are indeed preparing fans for a big surprise. The timing will definitely be right for Adele. British singers Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran are currently taking the world by storm just like Adele did when she released “21.”
