You might recall that Frank Ocean won the Grammy Award for channel ORANGE and that, as he went to accept the award, he received a standing ovation, except from Chris Brown. Images arose on Tuesday that seem to indicate someone else noticed the same thing, and gave Chris Brown a piece of her mind, as well.
In the above photo, snapped inside the Staples Center, Adele seems to be speaking angrily to Brown. Unfortunately, there has been no video found of the incident, but the confrontation has been characterized as Brown "taken aback by the 24-year-old British beauty, who is obviously not afraid to tell it like it is."
Adele has never been afraid "to tell it like it is," or to show it like it is. Remember that she famously flung the middle finger at the Brit Awards last year.
Notably, the report said that Adele and Brown were later seen smiling together, so whatever the issue was, they apparently worked it out.
It's assumed that Brown's dissing of Ocean was a result of a recent incident, in which Brown and Ocean -- as well as their teams -- reportedly engaged in a brawl at the Westlake Studio in the Los Angeles area, allegedly over Ocean blocking Brown into a parking spot. Ocean said Brown punched him, and added someone from Brown's entourage called him a "faggot." Days later, Ocean said he would not press charges.
To be clear, though, although the attention has been focused on Brown, it should be noted that Miguel, whose "Kaleidoscope Dream" album was also nominated -- in addition to Brown's "Fortune" -- didn't stand either.
