Additional ‘Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes’ PS4 exclusive feature revealed

Hideo Kojima may have revealed a new exclusive feature for the PS4 version of the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.” According to a report from Metal Gear Informer on Jan. 8, the game director disclosed that the open-world action-adventure title will be taking advantage of the built-in speaker on the DualShock 4 controller.

Hideo Kojima posted a small development update on“Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes,” informing that the voice of Donna Burke could be heard through the game pad. The singer and voice actress will be singing several songs in the upcoming title along with providing a voice to the fictional iDroid device used by Big Boss during the sneaking missions. The iDroid device appears to be a gadget used to provide Big Boss information on the current mission objective. In addition to the voice commands, it will also display a holographic map of the area.

“Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” will be released for the PS4 (in addition to the PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One) later this March in North America. The video game has a retail price tag of $39.99 on Sony’s next-generation system.
