Having plants in your home or office can be beneficial to your health. According to studies by both NASA and B.C. Wolverton, Ph.D., some plants can act as natural air purifiers and remove toxins from the air. Try placing one of the following plants in your indoor space to enhance your health.
Jasmine - The sweet scent of this wispy plant reduces stress levels. Be careful not to place jasmine next to radiators or heat sources, as it is sensitive to dry air.
Miltonia Orchid - The simple beauty and subtle fragrance of this exotic plant will soften the mood of any room. Give it a monthly dose of high-nitrogen fertilizer to keep it at it's best.
Ficus Alii - This tree is known to remove chemical vapors from the air, which allows you to breathe easy. Give it lukewarm water to prevent leaf loss.
Bamboo Palm - This plant removes benzene and formaldehyde, which can be present in your indoor air. Rotate the pot weekly for symmetrical growth.
Jade - Jade is known to promote abundance, prosperity, and good luck. To maximize it's feng shui power place it in the back left corner of any room.
