Adaptive Snapjaw is a powerful addition to any Evolve deck thanks to it's unique combination of large power and small toughness. By the time you're able to cast it, your early Evolve creatures like Cloudfin Raptor, Experiment One, or Gyre Sage will have already grown to impressive sizes. Adaptive Snapjaw's large power of six allows it to continue evolving your creatures into even larger threats.

On the flip side, Adaptive Snapjaw's low toughness of two lets it to grow even if your next play is an unimpressive card like Frilled Oculus. There's many evolve creatures with a high toughness like Elusive Krasis which will allow Adaptive Snapjaw to continue its evolution. If you're playing limited an managed to open or be passed a Prime Speaker Zegana, there's no better on color common creature to have than Adaptive Snapjaw.

How will you use Adaptive Snapjaw?
