Adam Richman debuted weight loss and some say that he took action to prevent having a heart attack -- and they might be right. On Sept. 16, the Christian Post reported that Richman -- the former host of Man V. Food -- recently lost 60 pounds, changing his eating habits in a major way.
Richman was always known for his love of food. He would travel the country in search of the most amazing eateries. There weren't too many things that he wouldn't try and many times, he'd try a lot of those things in one or two days. Brisket, pizza, milk shakes, french fries, and loads of other things that could easily clog one's arteries.
Adam Richman's weight has almost always been debated. While he was never really large, his eating habits weren't the best for a healthy lifestyle. He would eat pounds of food at a time to try and earn himself a title and a T-shirt -- but that really isn't good for your body and Richman may have gotten away from that just in time. At age 39, Richman realized that he needed to change his lifestyle and try to prevent having a heart attack at such a young age.
People would watch "Man V. Food" and just wonder how Adam could eat all of that food and not weigh 400 pounds -- or not be sick... or not have diabetes. While he loved his career, Richman knew that when the show was over, he really needed to get healthy.
Adam Richman took off the weight by eating less white flour and exercising regularly. He looks great and many hope he keeps on the healthy road.
