Adam Lind crashes Corvette and barely escapes before it bursts into flames

Adam Lind, from MTV’s "Teen Mom 2," crashed into a car driven by an 87 year-old woman. According to KELO Land News, the accident happened in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Feb. 21, 2014, around 2:30 p.m.

According to the Sioux Falls police reports, Adam Lind was driving his 2001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 at a high rate of speed. He was going eastbound on 57th Street. His car struck Donna L. Fodness, as she drove her 2003 Lincoln Town Car, westbound on 57th Street, turning southbound on Southeastern Avenue.

After Adam hit the other vehicle, his car crashed into a traffic signal and then went through a fence. Witnesses pulled Adam from his vehicle just seconds before the Corvette burst into flames.

The ambulance transported Donna, 87, her passenger Orval Fodness, 94, and Adam, 23, to the Avera McKennan Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Pictures on the KELO Land News Twitter feed, shows only the charred remains is all that's left of the Corvette. Five charges have been brought against Adam involving this incident. Adam is charged with reckless driving, driving with a revoked license, driving with a suspended license, driving an unlicensed vehicle, and no proof of insurance.

According to Reality Tea, Adam does not have a good driving record and has had a number of violations, including three DUI’s, exhibition and careless driving, speeding tickets, seat-belt violations, driving without insurance and driving without a license.

The young "Teen Mom 2" star bought two Corvettes with his recent paycheck from the reality show. Maybe this will be the wake-up call he needs to straighten his life out. What do you think? Will he learn from his narrow escape from death?
