Adam Levine sure has a way with words. The Maroon 5 front man and “The Voice” mentor has a new Kmart clothing line set to launch this fall, and in a Feb. 21 interview with E! News he described the line in an unusual way. According to E Online, the Hollywood hottie described the upcoming 222 by Adam Levine line as “a way to represent my convoluted and confusing opinion on what is sexy."
"I enjoy, from the male perspective, something being effortless or casual,” the rocker turned designer said. “You don't wanna be the guy that's trying too hard in a room. Then you just look like an A-hole.”
As for his women’s collection, he said, "It's like me but with breasts and a vagina."
Levine joins fellow music superstars Selena Gomez and Nicki Minaj on Kmart's clothing line roster.
The rock star previously joked to E! that his signature Macy’s fragrance – which launched earlier this month-- smell like “s—t.”
Levine quickly got serious and said, "It smells really good … The task was to make something that I would wear. So that was a process and we finally came to a great conclusion and it smells great. I fully endorse it and I'm really happy because it has my name on it."
He later tweeted: “2 facts about my fragrance : 1 men won’t smell like a bad 80s movie 2 women wont smell like a stripper (not that there’s anything wrong w/ that).”
