In what many families feel could be the answer to their questions, Peter Lanza, Adam Lanza's father met with a family who lost their child at the hands of his son. According to the New York Post on March 22, 2013, Robbie and Alissa Parker sat down with Peter Lanza in January of 2013.
The Parkers lost their 6 year-old daughter, Emilie, in the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre on December 14, 2012 in Newtown, Connecticut. Hoping for answers to the "why" behind Adam Lanza's actions that fateful December morning, the parents all spoke for about an hour.
While Emilie's parents have kept the details of their discussion private, it was revealed the meeting was extremely emotional.
Revealing in an interview for "CBS This Morning", Robbie Parker believes this is the beginning to getting more answers.
Closing the interview with Alissa and Robbie Parker admitting they were not angry with Peter Lanza, they simple claimed that he was not ultimately responsible for Adam Lanza's actions that day - nor was his mother Nancy.
Emilie's parents did agree that Adam Lanza's parents made mistakes; it was not their job to judge. Adam Lanza killed 20 children in a shooting spree on December 14, 2012 at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Ct.
