Spoiler Alert: although it's all over the internet anyway, do not continue reading if you want to wait until tonight to find out which Teen Choice Award went for Adam Lambert!
Move over, winners. It is clear that, at least for teens, American Idol runner ups are much more interesting. In last night's Teen Choice Awards, Adam Lambert beat Kris Allen and won the surfboard for Choice TV: Male Reality/Variety Star. He did not win the award for Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon: Male, which went to the Jonas Brothers, who hosted the event.
David Archuleta, last year's teenage runner up to David Cook, also beat the AI winner, this time in the Choice Music Breakout Artist category, even defeating Lady GaGa! The young performer also won the awards Best Love Song, for "Crush," and Best Summer Tour with Demi Lovato.
Adam Lambert was not at the Teen Choice Awards ceremony, which airs tonight, August 10th at 8pm EST on Fox. But lots of other celebrities made an appearance, including Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, Twilight's Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, Selena Gomez, and The Jonas Brothers.

It's amazing how Adam Lambert has been reaping awards which constantly reminds the American Idol voting public what they did wrong. I just wish that Kris Allen would survive all the challenges he has to face for the wrongdoing of the voters.

Adam was the outstanding talent on American Idol. Adam is the star of the tour. It is a shame that Kris's home state put him in the position of being the winner that did not deserve to win. We always knew that Adam would have the grace and the class to overcome Arkansas's power texting and show the world who the real winner is. Adam is our real Idol.

Adam was the only reason I watched Idol last year. Adam deserved to win Idol and he deserved this award. My understanding is that for the Teen Choice award you can not vote thousands of time each. This vote was more fair then the Idol vote. I am sure that Adam is the reason why the show won an award this year. I went to the concert in New Jersey and Adam was the star. I can not wait for his album! Lots of people walked out on poor Kris.

Of course Adam Lambert beats Kris Allen. All of my friends love Adam. None of them like Kris. If you go to an AI concert Adam is clearly the fan fav with screaming over his pictures being flashed and the most screams and applause during his performances.

It is not just teens either who love Adam. At my concert there were 5 60+ year olds with Adam shirts and many kids under 10 with Adam shirts and signs. I wonder where all these Kris Allen voters are at because they are not at the concerts.
Adam is proving with every concert, he is the fav. he steals the show, he has already won Hollywood Artist Award and now this, he has the theme song for FlashForward TV series, he has theme song for the movie 2012... he is rocketing to superstardom, and the winner of AI8?? nothing so far. Hmmmm.....I'm just happy Adam got out there because of AI, winning it means very little as we can all see.
Adam will win next year's "Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon: Male". He only appeared only once on the red carpet this year (the Young Hollywood award. Give him more chances to appear, he will win that prize.
Adam lambert is the only reason many even watched American Idol this season, he certainly deserved to win the award. Adam is an outstanding singer and performing artist and definitely charismatic with mesmeerizing when on stage.
I love Kris Allen! Most of these posters are old age 58 year old Bitter berts who are sad Madam Lost the American Idol Series. They flood comment boxes like this and proclaim Madam as a Rocky Star or a World legend. They mock The winner Kris Allen because they feel like losers since America Voted for Kris Allen. We feel sorry for the hate Kris has to put up with from these old hags. We adore you Kris and from what I hear tell, sooo does Madam. As for the teen awards, big deal, its like madam didnt bother to attend either. She was to busy looking for Kris Allen.
