Adam Lambert is wanted at the Oscar ceremony by Adam Shankman's Twitter followers.
Producer Adam Shankman recently asked his 48.885 Twitter followers who they would like to see at the Oscar ceremony. The response widely included Adam Lambert.
Adam Shankman asked, "Curious: what and who do [you] wanna see on the oscars? What would make [you] watch?"
According to THR, Adam Lambert was very popular in the responses.
Certainly, however, a performance by Adam Lambert would undoubtedly worry the heads ot the Academy, considering the controversy that ensued after the singer's AMA performance.
That would not stop the Adam Lambert fans to tune for the Oscars, though.

I watch the Oscars every year with my hubby. I make a beautiful dinner,semi dress-up,and indulge in a few cocktails (martinis and red wine). For the most part it is a thoroughly enjoyable evening of super indulgence. I would love to see Adam perform. He is (IMO) the most exciting and charming entertainer and I look forward to every appearance he makes (whether it's taped or live!).

I would love to see Adam Lambert perform on the Oscars. He is a rare talent with intelligence and humility, rare these days. You can bet he will perform with class. I watch the Oscars if I am in the mood, sometimes I watch, sometimes I don't. If Adam were performing I would DEFINITELY watch.

Why NOT? Adam deserves to be on the Oscar acadamy. He should sing Time for Miracles. I think it's a great exposure for Adam as a Rocker. With that voice and song. I love that Song and how Adam sang it. I don't know why this song is not on the very top right now. Are the American still homophobic? I think so, this song is one of the BEST I've heard in a long time. Classic and you can actually called it music, not like those current untalented singers have been singing lately.

Adam Lambert would certainly be a great "get" on the Academy Awards next year! Beyonce has performed on the Oscars 3 times already (2005, 2007, 2009), she did not have a movie (much less a role) nominated each of those years she performed - or even a song for each year's appearance. So Adam shouldn't be thrown out of consideration because of that.
Anyway, it's time for a new attractive, attention getting, young, vocal powerhouse, such as Lambert to grace the stage. Beyonce and Josh Groban can't hog the stage all the time. And judging from Beyonce's varied song selections from her past performances, Adam would do AWESOME if given the opportunity. Perfect match. Perfect timing. Perfect opportunity.

While I would LOVE for Adam to perform TMF, I really don't care. All I need is for him to have SOME connection to that night and I'll watch. Be it as a performer (god YES!!) or the Host (praise JESUS!!) or simply a presenter (whoo!). The Oscars ARE boring, there's no life in the show anymore. Barely any of the mainstream public knows the movies nominated and the performances are so bland.
Unfortunately the Oscars aren't classy anymore, they're just boring. You can still be classy while having fun. Remember the Moulin Rouge performance? Come on, they four girls were dressed like hookers, but it wasn't slutty, it was FUN! Where is that anymore? Awards shows are a dying breed as the generation gap grows. If the show wants to stay around much longer and not just be some tried old tradition then it NEEDS for people like Adam to perform.
He can be classy, plus he's got a vocal range to high heaven. His witty, interesting, and people WANT to watch him. He'd be a GREAT addition.
It's rather silly to keep bringing up the AMA performance. It was one performance out of how many? He was interpreting the lyrics of the song. Give him a song about bubblegum, angels and fluffybunnies and you'll see a whole different side of Adam. It's an artist doing artistic performances. Sheesh....one performance does NOT make the man. Media won't stop with the AMA controversy stuff (it's reeeeally getting old now) because you think it's the only thing about Adam that will draw readership. Not true. I want to see Adam Lambert on Oscar's too. He his a best singer I never see for long time. Time For Miracles are so great Adam give us his amazing voice and Powerfull and in the same times so softly voice. If we dont have the chance to by this song its because Sony give us like a gift the song video by Adam's and Adam give us the single if we buy his first CD. So he dont have a big sell for this songs just because we have it to a gift by him and Sony's.
Timefor Miracles cannot be nominated for an Acadamy Award as it wasn't written specifically for the film.
Adam is associated with a 2009 movie, he sang the main song "Time For Miracles" for the movie '2012' that went over the credits. There is debate if that song is eligible for an Oscar though. One article I read said that the song, "Falling Slowly" that won an Oscar and had previously been on another record, seems every year they change qualifications. But whether it is or not does not mean that Adam couldn't be invited in some capacity.
AMAs are over. Adam was acting out the lyrics of a song. Are we concerned when actors who played psychos in movies come to the Oscars? No, because it is ridiculous. Glam-rock is a form of
"acting" that puts a new layer on musical performances. Time for Miracles lyrics wouldn't bring a sexy performance. No way. This is all getting silly. We have the most talented singer of the century--let's just enjoy him.
Starting last year a new rule went into effect for the Best Song category in that a song cannot be nominated if it is only played during the end credits. This was why Bruce Springstein was not nominated for his song "You've seen me" with "The Wrestler" last year. I think this is a terrible rule imposed by the Oscars, which I can only hope, gets changed one day in the fututre.

I would love for Adam Lambert to sing Time For Miracles at the Academy Awards and I hope they change that ruling and nominate the song. I also think they'd be idiots not to have him write or co-write with Justin Hawkins a song for the 3rd series in the Twilight Series. Adam Lambert's CD is fantastic!

I would tune in to watch Adam sing Time For Miracles. This is a beautiful song, with beautiful lyrics and The public would get to see Adam's insane vocals in a mellow, unsexy performance. And you know what? he will win a lot of new people over.
God, can everyone not lay off Adam for the AMA's?? He is a gorgeous, intelligent man with so much class, he knows how to temper his performances and he'll keep the sexy stuff for his tour. Steven Spielberg had no problem with Adam at his prestigious ADL event and Adam sang a simply beautiful and stunning Star Spangled Banner. I thought we had progressed from 20th century morals but here we are talking about Adam as if he had tortured kittens on that stage..So, get Adam on the the Oscars will have the highest ratings its had since the 60s.
