Adam Lambert took a break while in the studio today to update fans via Twitter about the status of his new music. With regard to the release of his single, he expects it to come out in November, “Seems as though the single will explode in November. I'm sorry for the delay- but trust me, it's worth it. The song HAS to be perfect!” He also explained why the single keeps getting delayed, “Here's the deal: there have been a couple of creative set backs on the first single. Mainly cuz I'm a perfectionist. Ha.” Apparently the delay is not with one particular song because Adam shared that the single has not even been chosen yet. He tweeted, “here's the kicker: the single hasn't been chosen. Narrowing it down...”
As for the album, everyone already knew that it was delayed until early 2012. Today, Adam said that it is still on track, “as of now, album will be released in the spring. Feb/march?” He’s still working hard on the album, and is even in the studio today. When asked if the album will be mostly about the vocals or the music, Adam responded “both!”
Fans are fortunate that Adam often shares information about the album. It’s great that he had some down time in the studio today to spend time tweeting with his fans. These Twitter parties are a great Public Relations tool for him. Every time he shares more about the new music, it makes people even more excited for the release.
