Adam Lambert has announced the release date for his upcoming, and much anticipated, debut album.
Using Twitter as the weapon of choice for media announcements once again, Adam Lambert took to the social media site yesterday to say: "fyi my album drops Nov 24th!"
Certainly, fans will be more than eager to buy the album, which has been making uninterrupted headlines ever since Lambert ended up as the runner up in the last season of American Idol.
The very glamorous performer has already said the album will be full of surprises, and fans have also been following the impressive and growing list of collaborators he has worked with, which includes the respected producer Max Martin.
Adam Lambert's tweet yesterday also stated: "over 86K raised by http://www.donorschoose.org... !! thank you guys so much! keep it coming!"
In a move that is certainly sending insane amounts of good karma his way, Adam Lambert has invited fans to make donations to DonorsChoose.org/Adam Lambert instead of sending him presents. The ensuing fan battle to see who can raise the most funds has been competitive, enthusiastic, and very generous. Surely, the children whose school projects will be benefited have a lot to be greatful for. After all, $90,956 dollars (amount reached by the time this article was being published) is a considerable amount of money, and it is certain that it will be used in a very, very good way.
Nice move, Mr. Lambert.

Adam knows what he's doing, the album sounds like it will be fantastic, lots variety -no same old sound throughout which causes one to skip tracks- -this CD will fly up the charts and stay there- the music he listens to & tweets aaabout is always excellent but the singing isn't as good as his, so he tast is magnificant- an indication of great things to come. I can hardly wait. Finally, we have someone wrrth getting excited about.
I will be there before the stores open their doors and dash right in to get the album. I hope a it is on a vinyl too. The 2nd week, I'll probably pick up another CDs cuz the 1st will have been worn out.
Plan to buy it the day it is released.
Hoping to pre-order his cd on Amazon but they don't have that available yet. I will definitely buy it. Can't remember which interview it was (I read them all!) but in one he said he hoped that it would be his singing that would be the common thread on his album, not any particular genre. I hope so! That's definitely what it is for me - his incredible voice. I can listen to him sing anything and love it, it's his talent that's the magnet for me, that amazing, unbelievable, incredible voice. Sure I love his personality too, his sense of style, his good looks, of course. But without that voice he's be just another good looking singer. With it, he's a once in a generation talent and I can't wait to hear more and more of him!
I have already pre-order Adam's CD via Amazon.co.uk. UK release is 3rd Dec... Can't wait!

Told my husband and kids that, besides peace and joy, Adam's cd is the only thing I want for Christmas.Their shopping will be DONE! Honestly,I'd prefer Adam under my tree but I'll just have to settle for his beautiful music!

This is one reason why Adam has so many fans. He is such a kind, and caring person. I just love how he thinks about other performers,and tries to help them. I have discovered so many great artists because Adam has mentioned them. Not too many people would think to point out the work of others, while trying to succeed themselves. I can't wait for Adam's cd to come out! I already told my daughter that the only Christmas present I want is that CD!

I am sure Adam's first album will do well. Having watched idols in the past, I think Danny will fizzle after his first album. The same may hold true for Kris - but he could be around for a few months before he fades.

There are four of us going to New York from the Philippines and plan to see the concert by driving to Rhode Island on September 13. It's good we haven't ordered the tickets yet and saw your post. We will be joining you there at Syracuse instead. We're very excited. We're going mainly to witness Adam's journey to superstardom. we don't want to miss a thing. See yah!!!
