Adam Lambert was hinting he would be back on stage at the beginning of the year, but on Monday he made the announcement everyone has been waiting for. The group Queen along with Adam Lambert will return to the stage on July 7, 2012 at the Soniphere for a show performance.
According to the festival, Knebworth was the setting for Queen’s final concert with Freddie Mercury in August 1986. Returning to the very place has special memories so having Adam Lambert on stage seems appropriate. The news, confirmed on the Soniphere 2012 ticket page, still has tickets available for the performance.
The potent chemistry between Queen and Lambert broke the surface when at the invitation of Brian May and Roger Taylor, Lambert joined them for the closing showcase at the recent MTV Europe Awards where Queen were present to collect their Global Icon award.
So who will be going to Soniphere 2012 to see Adam Lambert and Queen perform? The fans of course as the ticket price will be worth it!
