Although Adam Lambert is currently busy in the studio working on his sophomore album, he will be doing a couple of festival performances in the next few months. Today Adam’s fan club announced that Adam will be performing at the St. Agathe en Feux Festival in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec on July 29. Although Adam is not yet listed on the festival website, his fan club has indicated that tickets are expected to go on sale as early as next Monday.
This is the second concert that has been announced to occur while Adam is working on new music. Last week it was confirmed that he is also scheduled to perform at the Maxidrom 2011 Festival on May 28 at the Tushino Airport in Moscow, Russia. Tickets for the Russian concert can be purchased here.
These festivals are a great opportunity for Adam’s fans to see him perform while waiting for his next album. Other than his tweets and a couple of appearances at award shows, we have not seen much of him since the Grammy awards last February. Not much has been revealed about the upcoming album other than some collaboration that has been uncovered via twitter. Based on tweets we know that Adam has been in the studio with people such as Nikka Costa, Ryan Tedder, BC Jean and Sia Furler. Adam further tweeted about another collaboration today:
“Headed back to @PulseRecording w @BonnieMcKeee @OLIGEE1 and @Josh_Abraham to make some more amazing music!! #onaroll”
