American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert performed live on Tuesday night's "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien."
Lambert performed "Whattya Want From Me," one of the singles from his new album "For Your Entertainment."
Of the three songs he's been performing live on the talk show circuit, I really like "Whattya Want From Me" over "For Your Entertainment" and "Music Again." The song, which was cowritten by P!nk, really seems to suit his voice. I don't want to sound like Slappy Squirrel here, but when Lambert starts the song, he reminds me of a young Richard Marx.
Here's the song from Tuesday's show.
It seems like he's really settled in after the AMA controversy. His stage presence has gotten more restrained, but also more forceful. Hopefully, that performance was just a blip in his career.
As always, your thoughts and comments are welcome.
