Adam Brody has confirmed that he is married to Leighton Meester. They reportedly got married in a secretive ceremony in early February 2014. An unnamed source told E! News in a report published on Fen. 19, 2014: "Leighton and Adam got married in Northern California by the ocean a couple of weeks ago. It was a very small and intimate wedding with close family and friends. It was beautiful."

In a Too Fab paparazzi video, Brody is asked by a photographer while Brody is walking in a parking lot: "Hey man, is it true you really got married?" Brod replied with a smile and said, "Yeah." When Brody was asked, "How's the new wife?," he said. "Thank you," and gave a "thumbs up" sign.

As previously reported, Brody and Meester got engaged in November 2013 after dating each other for almost a year. They did not make any public comments about their engagement, but Meester was seen wearing an engagement ring.

Speculation began about Brody and Meester getting married when, according to Yahoo! Celebrity, Brody was seen wearing a gold wedding band the weekend of Feb. 15, 2014. The couple reportedly spent Valentine's Day 2014 together at St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Mexico, a popular destination for newlyweds.

Brody (who is 33) and Meester (who is 27) have known each other for years, but didn't begin dating until January 2013. They co-starred in the 2012 movie "The Oranges." In the movie, Brody's misfit character Toby has an unrequited crush on Meester's vixenish Nina, who ends up having an adulterous affair with Toby's father, David (played by Hugh Laurie).

Brody and Meester also co-star in the movie "Life Partners," whose release date is to be announced.

Meester and Brody are best known for their previous TV drama series about privileged young people. Brody co-starred on "The O.C." (which was on the air from 2003 to 2007), while Meester co-starred in "Gossip Girl," which was on the air from 2007 to 2012.

Brody's films also include "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," "Lovelace," "Damsels in Distress," "The Romantics," "Baggage Claim" and "Jennifer's Body." His upcoming movies include "Think Like a Man Too" and "Growing Up and Other Lies."

Meester's film credits include "That's My Boy," "Monte Carlo," "The Roommate" and "Country Strong." Her upcoming films include "The Judge," "Any Tom, Dick, or Harry," "Like Sunday, Like Rain," and "God Only Knows."

Brody previously dated director Lorene Scafaria in 2010 and his "O.C." co-star (and on-screen love interest) Rachel Bilson from 2003 to 2006. Leighton was previously linked to actor Aaron Himelstein. She also dated her "Gossip Girl" co-star Sebastian Stan from 2008 to 2010.
