TORRANCE, Calif., -- New Yorkers looking for a medium-size station wagon to serve their needs in and out of the city will be able to see a brand new choice at the New York Auto Show which runs from April 3 through April 11 in the Jacob Javits Convention Center.
Acura has announced that it will introduce a sport wagon that will expand the line-up of TSX models available for sale in the United States.
The wagon, which will go on sale in late fall, and the sedan are close relatives to Honda Accord models that are sold in Europe.
Parent Honda did not release many details, but it is expected that the powertrain will include some or all of the choices available on the front-wheel-drive sedans.
Sedan customers can choose a 2.4-liter, 201-horsepower four-cylinder engine or a 3.5-liter, 280-horsepower V-6 engine. Transmission choices are a five-speed automatic or a six-speed manual.
