The first support acts for Bob Dylan's June 18th appearance at London Feis have been revealed:
- Imelda May
- Christy Moore
- The Waterboys
- The Undertones
- The Saw Doctors
- Nanci Griffith
- The Fureys
Festival boss Vince Power said, "I'm pleased to announce more acts for the London Feis. It is great to have new artists like Imelda May, who has had a fantastic twelve months, on the same bill as International acts like Nanci Griffith and Fleadh veterans Christy Moore and The Waterboys. It is shaping up to be a great first London Feis."
This statement was posted by efestivals, who originally mentioned the rumor that Dylan would be headlining the festival.
Nanci Griffith collaborated with Dylan at few times in 1992. Dylan overdubbed a harmonica track on Griffith's cover of "Boots Of Spanish Leather", while Griffith sang back-up on Dylan's appearance on the David Letterman 10th aniversary show and appeared at "Bobfest" in New York City.
