Melissa Gilbert is getting married for the third time. The former "Dancing with the Stars" star is engaged to actor Timothy Busfield, who has also been married twice.
Us Weekly reports that Gilbert, 48, got engaged over the holidays. Their source states that the couple has "known each other for quite some time, as their paths have crossed off-and-on over the past 20 years."
Known by many for her role as Laura Ingalls on "Little House on the Prairie," Melissa Gilbert has two children.
Married twice, she divorced Bruce Boxleitner in 2011 and split with Bo Brinkman in 1992.
"West Wing" star Timothy Busfield, 55, was married to Radha Delmarter and Jenny Meriwin. His marriage to Meriwin ended in 2007 after 20 years of marriage.
In June 2012, Busfield was cleared of sexual assault allegations after a woman claimed the "Thirtysomething" star groped her on a date.
Us Weekly reports that the newly engaged couple celebrated their upcoming marriage on Jan. 28, 2013 at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills.
