Television and film star Keke Palmer is proving once again she is more than just an actress. The former child star is headed to daytime television as host of her own daily talk show according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Keke Palmer Project will cover everything from social issues, celebrity interviews, pop culture to fashion and will be aimed at millennials. The show is being co-produced by Judge Greg Mathis and will debut in July on the BET network for a month long trial run. With the show the actress will become the youngest talk show host in history at the age of 20.
Palmer who most recently starred opposite legendary actress Cicely Tyson in “The Trip to Bountiful” on Lifetime has a growing list of television and film credits. They include VH-1’s “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story” and the films “Akeelah and The Bee”, “Madea’s Family Reunion” and “The Long Shots”.
