The latest “Big Bang” news of new year 2014 is really big, if you’re a fan of the number one CBS comedy show. Fans have learned that Kaley Cuoco tied the knot with tennis player Ryan Sweeting on New Year’s Eve, in a “big bang of her very own,” as reported Jan. 1, by the Huffington Post. So, things are really off to a great start for the beautiful young actress in real life.
On her television program, Kaley’s character Penny’s acting career is also taking off in a skyrocketing kind of way, well maybe. Tune in to “The Big Bang Theory” tonight, Jan. 2, to see “The Hesitation Ramification.” Tonight’s plot of Episode 12, Season 7, for “The Big Bang Theory” includes at least talk, if not action, of the network’s number one drama show, “NCIS,” in an episode that will please fans of both shows. After all, who can’t get enough talk of either show if you’re a fan?
In the sneak preview of tonight’s episode, the show begins as Kaley Cuoco’s character, Penny, wins a part on the show. Excitedly, she rushes home to tell the gang about it, and they ask her “what show?” She responds, “NCII or NCSTD, something like that.” That doesn’t exactly bode well if she doesn’t know the actual name of the show. But she does know for sure that she plays a waitress in the diner who gets to flirt with Mark Harmon. At least Raj, of all of them, does know who Harmon is and what the show is about. Statistically for their group, that’s not a good percentage, but there’s always hope.
Now, as to whether or not Penny can “keep” the part remains to be seen. We may or may not see any of the “NCIS” cast on tonight’s “Big Bang Theory,” but at least, when the names of these two shows get mentioned together, there may or may not be a big bang, but for sure, you’ll see a lot of stars in the room.
