Actress Julie Bowen praises Jennifer Aniston's 'incredible beauty'

Jennifer Aniston has legions of fans around the world, thanks to her down-to-earth persona and athletic good looks, but her beauty has sometimes been minimized by fans and colleagues alike.

But Julie Bowen, Jennifer's co-star in Horrible Bosses, says Aniston, 42, is universally appealing because of her rare, incredible beauty, which is often underestimated.

"You think she's an accessible sort of beautiful, but you really can't get that beautiful on your own," says Bowen, 41. "You'd have to drink your way there."

Joan Collins: Aniston Is Cute, Not Beautiful

In October 2010, actress Joan Collins declared that Angelina Jolie was the only truly beautiful, glamorous actress left in Hollywood and dismissed Aniston as merely "cute," not beautiful.

"When I was young, everybody on screen was gorgeous," said Collins, 77. "There aren’t that many good-looking actresses around today. I mean, there’s Angelina Jolie and there’s... Angelina Jolie."

Collins added that movie fans are "starved of gorgeous people" to idealize, sniffing, "Jennifer Aniston is cute, but I wouldn’t call her beautiful. She’s no Ava [Gardner] or Lana [Turner]."

But Aniston's co-star Julie Bowen says people think Jen's beauty is attainable but it really isn't. What's more, Jennifer's outer beauty is matched only by her sweet, charismatic personality.

"She's one of our own," says Bowen. "She's incredibly beautiful in the way that you think you could be if you got drunk enough and looked in the mirror just at the right angle.

"I've met her a few times before, she's an incredibly nice person," says Julie. "I don't think I've ever heard a bad word said about her, and it's all true."

Aniston: 'Wrinkles Don't Scare Me'

Jennifer, who does yoga, Pilates and runs to maintain her sizzling bikini body, eats "really well" most of the time, but still enjoys wine, coffee, dairy , margaritas and nachos.

The key to being happy and healthy is balance and not taking anything -- such as dieting or exercise -- to extremes.

“I feel more comfortable today than I ever did in my 20s or early 30s," she gushes. "I’m healthier. I’m more at peace in my mind and with my body. I'm startin' to live. It's good!"

Jennifer, who has gotten fitter and sexier over the years, admits she once tried Botox, but isn't bothered by her smile lines or the wrinkles on her forehead.

“Wrinkles happen to human beings,” she says. “I think they’re kind of beautiful on women. You know, I’ve got wrinkles on my forehead and smile lines, but what’s wrong with that? I love to smile.”
