A private funeral, according to Reuters, will be held Friday, July 3, 2009 for actress Farrah Fawcett.
Farrah was one of seven celebrity entertainers who died this past week (within six days), among them were Michael Jackson, Ed McMahon and Billy Mays.
Farrah, 62, died Wednesday morning on June 25th, after an approximate two plus year battle with cancer. Her services will be held at a Catholic cathedral in Los Angeles on Friday.
The service, for the former Charlie's Angels actress, will take place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels at 4 p.m. PDT, (1900 EDT).
Farrah was a part of Charlie's Angels for one season, but what a glorious one that turned out to be - obviously remembered for such a short time as that character, Angel Jill Munroe.
Farrah's career went from angel to multiple dramatic-type characters, one of which was a battered wife in 1984's The Burning Bed. Her career was further established from other character portrayals in film and television, not forgetting her famous poster pose in red swimsuit!
How appropriate, too, that such an angel's "final service" be at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. But "final" will never be in the vocabulary or memories of those who respected and loved her.
Farrah's smile will always be remembered.

I heard a song today by a country dou called Bomshel. It's called "Fight Like A Girl". Take a listen. It really is a song I wish she could have heard. Fits Farrahs life to a "T".
RIP.
