Actress Emma Stone has a message for all those women who constantly diet and fear food: "You're a human being, you live once and life is wonderful, so eat the d**n red velvet cupcake," she told Glamour magazine.
And Emma also avoids getting obsessed with endless rounds of exercise, criticizing Hollywood diets that involve tiny amounts of food and major amounts of exercise.
"It’s like: Eat this diet, which is a palm-size piece of chicken and some beans, and work out two hours a day for the rest of your life," she said, according to FitSugar.
But that doesn't mean Emma avoids working out.
"I'm trying to get into yoga, I like it and apparently it's very good for you. As well as yoga, I do a bit of meditation," she said.
In addition to yoga, she agrees with Miley Cyrus that Pilates is the way to go for a lean, flexible body.
"Pilates is the one thing that makes me happy while I'm doing it. But other than that, it puts me in a bad mood to lift stuff over my head. I hate it. But it is important to do it for my health, so I need to do it more," she declares.
As far as measuring up to the entertainment industry's standards of size zero, Emma admits that she does sometimes think about her weight.
"I'd be crazy to sit here and tell you that I've never thought about it. [But] I never can beat myself up about it. I definitely am not restrictive," she adds.
