Many got to know Lark Voorhies as the character Lisa on the hit show SAVED BY THE BELL, but she is one woman that can not be defined by one role or just one outlet for her creativity. As an actress, author and recording artist she has been able to reach the world in various mediums and is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon. sharing her creativity with the world.

Just days after Lifetime released the unauthorized movie SAVED BY THE BELL Story, I talked with Voorhies not just about the success of the show but what it's been like to share her gifts with the world.

"It's amazing. I certainly appreciate the enthusiam and support."

"I did hope to influence others as I was influenced as a young person. I grateful for the opportunity to come forward and extend support to others, encouraging them to fulfill many things of greatness in the future."

"I've always known that I've had to express myself. I enjoy being able to promote, express, promote share what is in me."

LARK ON HER CONNECTING WITH FANS THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA:
"I'm absolutely amazed that they operate so ecstatically. It's heatwarming to konw that the support is so high. We are all in this together."

LARK ON THE LONGEVITY SHE'S ENJOYED IN THE INDUSTRY:
"I think it's my sincereity and devoution. It's certainly an oppotunity for commitment. When you are absolutely one of devotion you will carry the full magnitute of the gift that you are meant to share for all times... The support is (also) necessary. They (the fans) are a large fulfillment of why we are all doing what we are doing. Carrying out a project to its completion is the true aim . In order to be successful you have to be willing to see it through to the end."

LARK ON SUCCESS: "I feel success has been a token of achievement. It's an award, a prize. There's no one way of looking at success. It can be graduating from college or doing something you thought couldn't be done. The important thing is to be the best of yourself."
