One way she will help is to run in a charity race, 26.2 Magical Miles, at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla. on Jan. 12, 2014.

Hootman announced that she has been performing in the latest musical stage production of "A Christmas Carol - The Musical." In addition, she has been prepping for the upcoming full marathon (links on both below).

Examiner.com does not know when this young actress, 24, first became interested in running, but Hootman did share about when she remembered first liking to act and to sing.

"When I was eight years old I would set to music and perform from books I read. At that point my parents knew I loved singing and acting!"

This graduate of Guilford School of Acting is a very talented entertainer as well as an award-winning actress and singer. She studied acting and voice at Guilford, and now she can be enjoyed both as an actor and as a runner!

Learn more about Hootman's running for charities at 26.2 Magical Miles (at Disney World), on Amanda's Running Blog, and at her Running Fundraiser Page. Amanda gives thanks.

"Thank you for giving me the opportunity to announce to others not only about the Christmas play currently in production, but about the all so important running charity marathon that will be held for two wonderful causes.

I hope readers will go to the charities' links in order to find out how they can help too - thanks!"

Hootman is at Amanda K. Hootman, Entertainer. Her latest musical can be heard on a radio review at "A Christmas Carol - The Musical" Review.
