Alana Stewart is the mother of 32-year-old Sean Stewart who is currently courting the newly-divorced, and much older, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof and while most mothers may be put off by their son dating someone so much older than they are, Alana just wants her son to be happy.
"As long as my son is happy, I’m fine with it," Alana told Celebuzz on February 6. "I have met Adrienne, and I actually like her a lot. To tell you the truth, I don’t pay too much attention to all the publicity. My son is a grown man, and he has to make his own decisions. And I approve of him dating Adrienne."
Adrienne and Sean began dating a couple of months ago and while they claim that things are casual, Adrienne has met Sean's family and Sean has met Adrienne's kids. In fact, Adrienne recently gushed about how good Sean is with her boys.
Alana had married Rod Stewart, Sean's father, in 1979 but divorced five years later in 1984 after having two kids together. In addition to Sean, the couple is also parents to Kimberly Stewart who gave birth to the baby of actor Benicio Del Toro just a couple of years ago.
