Actors’ Summit Theater presents the regional premier of ‘Ring of Fire’

Featuring the music of Johnny Cash, “Ring of Fire” will be opening on May 2, 2014 through May 25 with a preview performance on May 1, 2014. Performances are on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. and takes place at Greystone Hall located at 103 S. High Street in Akron, Ohio. The show is considered appropriate for all ages and a free dessert reception with the cast will follow the opening night performance on Friday, May 2.

While there are performers out there who imitate Johnny Cash, this show is simply a celebration of the man and his music. “Ring of Fire” features a cast of four actors/singers/musicians plus three additional back-up musicians. In the course of the show, the group will be performing 34 songs from the 96 albums that Johnny Cash recorded in his career.

Tickets for “Ring of Fire” are on sale now through the box office at (330) 374-7568 and online at www.actorssummit.org. Preview tickets (May 1) are $20. Tickets for all other performances: $33 for adults, $28 for seniors over 65; and $10 for all full time students under 30.

The Theater

The theater is located on the sixth floor of historic Greystone Hall that is located at 103 S. High Street in downtown Akron. The facility features barrier free access, free parking, and full bar service.
