About the Play
A young Israeli woman if forced to travel with her grandmother to the United States. Bubbie (the grandmother) seems to be on a quest of sorts but refuses to divulge what it is. On Christmas Eve problems arise when a package being shipped back to Isreal goes missing.
Communication becomes complicated between the rural southern delivery driver and the Hebrew speaking young woman. In desperation, he seeks the help of his one Jewish friend only to find that there is a language barrier even among the Jews. In spite of the language barriers the young Jewish friend and the granddaughter soon begin to develop a romantic attachment.
