Actors and Singers: June is the month for auditions at Universal Orlando

Actors and singers, get ready. Prepare your monologues and 16 bars. Universal Studios Orlando has many upcoming opportunities for you. They are holding open call auditions for the Grinchmas Wholiday Spectacular and Halloween Horror Nights. They are also looking for Female Singers between the ages of 18 to 35.

Auditions for Halloween Horror Nights are being held on Tuesday, June 3rd and Sunday, June 8. They are looking for both Male and Female Musical Theater Performers for the Rocky Horror Picture Show Tribute. All you need to do is prepare 16 bars of a pop or a rock song. Callbacks will be held on Monday, June 9. Check the Universal Studios Audition page for rehearsal and performance dates and times.

The Open Call for Actors and Musical Theater Performers for the Grinchmas Wholiday Spectacular will also be held on Tuesday, June 3rd, and Sunday June 8. Musical Theater Performers should prepare 16 bars. An accompanist and mp3 will be provided. They are looking for Actors from 5'10" to 6'2" in height. Actors need to prepare a one minute monologue as "The Grinch". They must be available for the entire month of November, and certain dates from December 6 to January 3rd. Callbacks for this audition will be held on Tuesday, June 10.

Female Singer Auditions are Monday June 2. Singers must be between the ages of 18 and 35. Prepare 16 bars of a Jazz style song. The callbacks will be held on the same day, and will include a short movement combination and reading in a British dialect.
